Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Home Project Calculators (“we”, “us”) collects when you use homeprojectcalculators.com (the “Site”), and how it is used.

Calculators

Calculations run entirely in your web browser. The measurements and prices you enter are not sent to us or stored on our servers. If you reload the page, they reset.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate traffic, such as page views, referrers, country and device type. According to Cloudflare, it does not use cookies or local storage to track individual visitors and does not fingerprint them. We may also record anonymous usage events (for example, that a calculator produced a result or a print button was used) without any personal information.

Hosting and security

The Site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and protect the Site from abuse. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for details.

Purchases

The Home Project Planning Bundle is sold through Payhip, which processes payments with its payment partners (such as Stripe or PayPal) and delivers your download. When you buy, you provide your name, email address and payment details to Payhip, not to us directly. We receive order information (such as your name, email and what you bought) so we can provide support and meet legal and tax obligations. Payhip’s privacy policy governs its processing.

Email

If you email us, we use your message and address only to reply and keep a record of the conversation.

Advertising

The Site does not currently display advertising. If we introduce advertising, such as Google AdSense, third-party vendors including Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Before that happens we will update this policy, explain how to opt out of personalized advertising (for example through Google’s Ads Settings), and, where required by law, ask for your consent first.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information we hold, or to opt out of certain processing. To make a request, email hello@homeprojectcalculators.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.

Children

The Site is intended for adults planning home projects and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

We will post any changes on this page and update the date above.
